Emil's Motel & Storage at 1550 Main Street, Escalon, California.

Old school room in an old school town. Rough start, first room wasn't cleaned. OK, I was checking in early. You have to go to the gas station/bait shop/storage office/motel desk to check in. Second room not so bad, clean sheets, old TV but decent cable. I had not slept in days so no time to be picky. $75 for a room w full stove, fridge, but no coffee. I could have driven to Modesto but I am working down the street from here. Not so bad, Emil's empire has grown on me. Ended up spending several days here, peaceful enough.

Not bad some rooms come with a kitchen close to the bar, weird at night tho

Great price for what you get. A full sized refrigerator and microwave. No coffee maker but right next door is a Chevron open 24/7. Have paid more for less. Definitely a good deal and fast friendly staff. I had an issue with the TV and it was dealt with quickly. Very satisfied. I work locally but when I just need to get away this is where I go.
